Lovely food and a fantastic place for any Vegan or Veggie or even other food people.

Solo experience of the recharge spa day plus. I can honestly say I felt welcomed and relaxed. I wanted a day of new experiences but somewhere I felt comfortable having them and I can honestly say I picked the right place. From the start the staff were friendly, in a relaxed manner not forced. I started with the infrared sauna and met some lovely people (I don’t know why I am a little disappointed I didn’t see a naked person in there like other reviews had said) it was lovely, nicer than a normal sauna as it did not feel stuffy. I can not recommend the massage highly enough done by Mehow (I know I have spelt that wrong) i deciding to have mine in the amethyst room as I do suffer with pain and I was glad I did the warm bed was soo nice (apparently had amethyst in it that is known for healing). Mehow listened to me and gave me the perfect massage. I went in with pain and came out without, so a massive thumbs up. He was very good and first time I have been massaged by a man , it felt very comfortable and dignified. Can not rate him high enough. The float tank , this was an experience funny and calming. I enjoyed it and felt like an “aqua-naut” floating around not a care in the world. The addition of ear plugs and head rest is a very good idea. I do think the properties in the float tank relaxed my body and have to say my mind was already relaxed. I am glad I had the experience but probably wouldn’t do it again. I did enjoy being an aqua-naut. The room is very private with the shower in the room a you can lock the door so being naked is very comfortable. After this I had quick shower then onto the hot tub. I was very lucky with the day , it was a beautiful spring day. Met a really nice guy who was in the garden, he was fixing the gate and even offered to stop so it didn’t interrupt my experience. I have to say the place did not seem busy but everyone you saw was soo nice . A genuine smile, a hi , how you doing made me feel really welcome and comfortable. It was lovely, country side view from the hot tub was nice. It is in a garden so people do come from the cafe. It is not a private experience . You preorder your food which you get in the spa experience. There was a sofa with my name on it (not literally ) , I had a book and I felt I could just hang around very happily reading. Again I think this is a testament to how comfortable the environment and the experience was. I didn’t feel rushed or looked at, even though times I was in a dressing gown. I read my book, I was soo comfortable. Food was really nice and the cocoa was delicious. Experienced drinks I never had before. I had a lovely time. I would however say that if you don’t like dogs then this is not the place for you. There was a few very cute very well behaved dogs. I am a cat girl and sadly I never saw the resident cat. The dogs didn’t come near me , I just laughed at their antics from a far. Do take your own dressing gown if you’re a bigger girl, like all spa experiences the robes only fit up to a size 16. This is a kid friendly place. I am not great fan of kids but they were well behaved and didn’t do that awful screech thing kids do when they get over excited. The only thing that put a damper on my day was when I had finished my experience, had my food and was soo happy reading and experiencing new drinks . A woman came with her little one sat next to me and started reading “Miffy” to her kid who clearly was not into it as much as she was. Well unfortunately I can not read whilst someone is reading and Miffy is not my favourite book so I didn’t want to listen. I just felt it was Weird she sat next to me to do this but I suppose she did save me money I could have spent another hour there reading and drinking different drinks. But it was not meant to be. All in all I really enjoyed my time and would recommend it to anyone. Forget the corporate spa places, have a different experience with very friendly people in a “come as you are” kinda place. I am soo glad I spent the day , it went soo fast and I slept like a baby that night. My skin feels amazing today.

A lovely chilled place, great food and value for money. Coffee is delicious too! We really liked the play area for the kids too.

My favourite place to go for drinks and food, love the vast vegan options, and the atmosphere is beautifully chilled. I've also attended various workshops, talks and retreat days here which have all been magical. Highly recommend.

I went to the 'Expand' day retreat yesterday and had such an amazing time! I really enjoyed the Yoga with Amber, Human design with Davina & Somatic session with Emily. The highlight of the day was a 1:1 healing session lead by Michael & Andrea (Kalatva healing). I have had experienced many healing modalities over the years but this session was very profound and included Rose oil/excellent aftercare advice! I would highly advise anyone to book themselves with them both and also advise anyone to visit Soul wellness Hub, such a great relaxing place with amazing people and vibe!

My favourite place in Yorkshire. Such a special place. It feels like home 🩵 they offer amazing therapy’s and gorgeous drinks and food. You always end up talking to extremely interesting people whilst you’re there. It’s a sacred place full of love and understanding. Highly recommend a visit if you want to heal from anything or simply want to enjoy the homely atmosphere with a wonderful hot drink or snack. I recommend doing the classes and workshops there too. They are powerful for transformation.

Popped in on Monday as I’d been curious about the place for a while. What a beautiful warm welcome. Felt immediately comfortable and relaxed. Enjoyed coffees and met some lovely people and dogs. We got shown around and we felt very impressed with the staff and facilities. Treated myself to crystals and some lovely tasting Cacao. Will definitely be back.

My first visit to SOUL and definitely wont be my last. I bought a recharge package and my goodness, what great value for money!!! Spent 5 beautiful hours in this place and felt so warm and welcome. Andrea showed me around to all the different rooms I would be using and explained what would happen when my time was finishing in each area. The time went super quick and as i moved from room to room I felt so relaxed finishing off with a massage from Michal. Michal listened to me. Listened to my pre existing sports injuries and worked around them. I finished off with a meal in the cafe, the Shakshuka was delicious. Definitely needed on a wintry January afternoon. I was chatting with another lady who was just having "her time" ahead of an event later on which was lovely as sometimes when you visit a new place alone, you feel alone but at SOUL I did not. I will definitely be back in the future!!

Visited here over Christmas with some friends from Ireland. The food was ace and our friends loved it. Have also been to the sauna a few times over the last year and that is also great. One of the best places to visit in Sowerby Bridge.

Stunning café with resident cat and dog friendly (your dog might not like cats...). Food gorgeous and atmosphere super. I went to Tatiana Pure Stretch class and loved it. Monday and Thursday at 1015 followed by ginger and lemon tea and sweet potato curry soup with sourdough toast. Yummy

Sept 2025 UPDATE After a year away from the place, I have returned to see some old faces. The transormation of the space is fantasic to see, a beautiful garden, hot tub and childrens area are fantasic additions. It is great to see the clothes shop well stocked for ladies (not so much for men) and a great range of crystals, superfood, cacao, natural toiletries and beauty products on offer. Soul is now a thriving hub with almost daily yoga practices, massage, sauna and float tank facilities. The food is still fantastic and the staff beautiful and wlecoming as ever! It fills me with such joy to see this place now thriving. You could easily return here often and get pampered all the time. The membership is a great option to open up yourself to some great relaxation and treatments. The atmosphere is still as great as ever. Original review 2023 below: A great, comfortable and clean spot with a warm atmosphere to sit relax and have a coffee. There are also some great food items on the menu, vegan friendly too! There is an awesome selection of teas as well as some beautiful items of clothing in the shop. Such a magical environment for the events too, with helpful friendly staff who serve with a smile. All in all a wonderful uplifting community vibe where everyone is welcome. Will definitely be visiting here again and will check out their social pages for upcoming events.

Wow... just wow. What you have created here is beyond words. My experience of your magical soul day retreats are out of this world. Every retreat is different offering an opportunity for all of the amazing facilitators.. some soft and beautiful, some powerful and trauma releasing. The owners are beautiful people, the staff are so lovely, thr food is delicious and the facilitators are inspiring. Rainbow your workshop allowed me to release so much supresed emotion and I will be forever greatful to you for that - you held the space beautifully and your confidence created such a safe space. The kirtan with Brigantis was insane, the energy was out of this world and the vocals, just wow. Thanks again for another incredible day.

We visited for the first time today. This is such a beautiful space with a very chilled out vibe. The food was amazing, as we're the beautiful people who work there. We live over an hours drive away, but we'll be back asap. I would highly recommend.

Lovely food that’s so tasty. Mushrooms divine, scrambled egg exactly as requested, coleslaw as side item was really lovely. Daughter loved her Smoothie Bowl too. Service was goodly and friendly!

Been coming to Soul for a while now since James and Rae took over – it’s a brilliant space. I’m fairly new to this kind of thing, but I’ve always felt genuinely welcome. The team are warm, down to earth, and all the staff really care about what they do. The café’s a bonus. Great food, properly made. The garden’s perfect for a quiet moment in the sun to read / relax. And the ice bath and hot tub setup is unreal. Special shoutout to Chris (and Teddy!) - proper kind-hearted guy, always smiling. Always leave this place feeling better - lucky to have it our doorstep.

It is a rare thing in today's age to find a place that encapsulates morality, ethics, warmth and excellence in such a beautifully balanced manner that Soul Wellness Hub appears to achieve. It is rarer still for such a place to achieve it so effortlessly. The atmosphere as soon as you enter is just beyond welcoming... You feel you have stepped into an old friend's home and the sense of community and inclusiveness is palpable. The staff, to a person, are an absolute pleasure to be around. The food and coffee... Speaking as someone who is unashamedly pompous over good food and coffee.... Is absolutely exquisite. The regularly changing menu has literally never failed to impress and certainly never disappoints. Every dish I have had here has had the wonderful combination of being utterly delicious and also extremely good for you. Yet another rare entity. If this place was just somewhere to eat, drink and relax it would be amongst my favourites I have visited - worldwide... But the fact it offers so much more than that, with the groups, the saunas, the treatments and the hot tub and outdoor areas just takes it to the next level. I feel utterly blessed to have such an incredible place on our doorstep and if you have not yet visited, then you are quite simply missing out on the very best that Calderdale has to offer. Fantastic place, highly recommend to anyone who lives or visits Calderdale. Sauna, float tank and therapy highly recommend. So Many wonderful staff, guests and owners, all very polite, welcoming and friendly. I cannot praise this little gem enough, food is fantastic and nothing like anywhere else, safe and tranquil place.

Amazing place! Food, staff, Hot drinks, playlist, sauna and the floatting tank! All 5 stars! The events are also a must!

I had an unexpectedly beautiful (Monday!) here, I had never visited before but decided to spend my birthday here. We arrived and were surprised by how much there was, not just beautifully decorated and spacious interior but also shop, hairdresser and co-working space. The food and drink was gorgeous and we had a lovely yoga session followed by a floatation tank which was an incredible first experience for me! I am very excited to return for a workshop and try a few more things on the drinks menu, so much to choose from and everything exceeded expectations. I’m not local but wish there was somewhere like this close to me!

I absolutely love Soul Wellness! The vibes are amazing, and the cozy seating areas are perfect for relaxation. The sauna is a real treat and the team are incredible. It's even animal-friendly! If you're in the area, I highly recommend – you won't be disappointed. Delicious coffee and ill be back to try some food! Make sure you check out all the events/classes that are on weekly.

A friend shared the link with me, I checked it out and really liked what I saw. Was intrigued by the floatation tank so booked a session. Very simple booking process with a couple of emails to follow up that I'd booked successfully and information on what to expect, timings etc. I was met with a smile and made to feel really welcome. I absolutely loved the session and will definitely want to come back again. The place has a wonderful feel about it and the people I met were all lovely. Definitely give here a try if you're curious.

A lovely warm space, with a welcoming cafe; offering organic health-oriented food and drinks. I enjoyed a tasty mild curry and delicious cacao drink; both reasonably priced. The furnishings are alternative and attractive with lots of oriental touches and hand painted murals. There are various little shops and you can get a weekly bag of organic veggies, also priced at an affordable level. The place is open to the public and is now offering talks, films and workshops. A former chapel, now being repurposed for the C21st, the building is big, with a huge hall upstairs and downstairs there's a basement being renovated, so there's massive potential benefits for Sowerby Bridge and surrounding communities. The place is just getting off the ground and looking for more volunteers and engagement. I'd recommend SOUL Wellness to anyone who likes an alternative lifestyle or who is looking for help with improving their well being and/or connection with others who seek more out of life than consumerism and the mainstream.

Fantastic food and drink, a lovely warm welcome with big smiles. Plenty going on and plenty to do. You could easily make this place your second home.
